Purpose

KW Services (WA) Pty Ltd is committed to conducting business ethically and responsibly. We do not tolerate modern slavery or any form of worker exploitation within our business or supply chain. This policy outlines our commitment to preventing modern slavery and promoting ethical business practices.

Scope

This policy applies to all directors, employees, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and other business partners engaged by KW Services.

Our Commitment

KW Services is committed to:

  • Complying with the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) and all applicable workplace and employment laws.

  • Prohibiting forced labour, child labour, human trafficking, debt bondage and all other forms of modern slavery.

  • Treating all workers fairly, with dignity and respect.

  • Maintaining lawful employment practices and safe working conditions.

  • Promoting ethical procurement and responsible supply chain management.

Supply Chain

We recognise that modern slavery risks may exist within broader supply chains, particularly in the manufacture and distribution of equipment, parts, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE) and other imported goods.

To minimise these risks, KW Services will:

  • Source goods and services from reputable suppliers where practicable.

  • Expect suppliers and subcontractors to comply with applicable workplace and human rights laws.

  • Consider modern slavery risks when selecting and reviewing suppliers.

  • Take appropriate action where credible concerns are identified.

Reporting Concerns

Employees, contractors and suppliers are encouraged to report any suspected instances of modern slavery or unethical labour practices. Reports will be treated seriously and investigated appropriately. Retaliation against any person who raises a genuine concern will not be tolerated.

Responsibilities

Management is responsible for implementing this policy and promoting ethical business practices throughout the organisation. Employees, subcontractors and suppliers are expected to comply with this policy and support its objectives.

Review

This policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure it remains effective and reflects legislative requirements and industry best practice.
